The Whole Child

The Whole Child program is designed to provide individualized care for children through the 8th grade. For children who are orphaned or are identified as very vulnerable, this program can be life-line!

Each child has a plan for care and education and may include advocacy, extra tutoring, counseling, family support, housing stabilization, nutritional supplementation, and medical care as needed.

“For I know the plans I have for you” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

—Jeremiah 29:11

High School Leadership

Students who have completed eighth grade through The Whole Child program are encouraged to apply to our High School Leadership program. Here, students can continue to be supported with appropriate services, while taking personal responsibility, initiative, and beginning to give back to the community by serving and being a role model to others.

Every child is unique!

Since every child is unique, each child’s care plan is unique too. Sponsored children are enrolled in a selected nearby school, as well as invited to participate in weekly children’s programs sponsored by Love Unconditional. Assessments are made, and needed services are provided through various Love Unconditional programs.  Care plans are further designed to meet each child’s specific needs which may include: tutoring, counseling, family support, housing stability, nutritional meals, medical care, advocacy, and more.

You are unique too!

Have you considered sponsoring a child? Opening your heart to a sponsor child, can enrich your life and be a rewarding experience. Your kindness can bring a feeling of belonging to a family, improve self-esteem, and bring hope into situations that may otherwise appear hopeless. We can match you with a child, you will learn the child’s story, and we will introduce you to the child’s caregiver. You can correspond with the child through letters. You may even decide to visit one day! This relationship is very special and important to your child. Your letters, photos, and other communications will become treasured keepsakes. Visit the How to Help page and start making a difference today!
