Seasonal Drive: Holiday Wish List
The holidays may still seem a ways off, but preparations are already underway at Love Unconditional Mission!
Our annual holiday gift drive is in full swing, and we’re inviting you to join us in bringing joy to the orphans and other at-risk children we serve in the Dominican Republic. We pack and send gift bags via cargo ship to the Dominican Republic by mid-November, so they arrive in time for the holiday celebrations.
The holidays are a special time at Love Unconditional Mission. Throughout the season, the children enjoy Advent activities, a Birthday Party for Jesus, and Three Kings Day celebrations. These gatherings are opportunities to share the joy of the season, spend time together, and celebrate the love and hope at the heart of Christmas. Each donated item is a tangible reminder to the children that they are loved, remembered, and cared for by a community of people near and far.
There are several ways to participate in the holiday gift drive:
- Donate items from our holiday wish list. Check out the accompanying flyer to see what we’re collecting.
- Organize a collection drive. Invite your church, workplace, friends, or community group to join you! A collection of even a few items can make a difference when we work together.
- Shop online. New this year, we have an Amazon Wish List for those who prefer the convenience of shopping online.
Every gift helps bring smiles and holiday cheer to the children. We’re so grateful for the many people who come alongside Love Unconditional Mission to help make these celebrations possible.
